Change Management: prepare a change request

Before implementing a planned service or infrastructure change, provide the purpose, scope, affected services or configuration items, implementation steps, risk and impact, test plan, rollback plan, and proposed schedule. Submit the change for the required review and approval. Perform work only in the approved window and update implementation results and validation evidence before requesting closure.
